Reflection 9/1/22

 Today in class we watched films on the poet (forgot name) we are studying. Also today in class we analyzed quotes, or small sayings often seen or heard throughout a lifetime. The assignment given was to choose a quote, 9 of them, and depict what it’s true meaning is to be. First, simplifying the quote, second characterizing the speaker (quote), Identify conflict, third symbolizing the quote, all in all to give a explanation of what the quote means and stands for as a saying.

Reflection 10/26

Today in class we continued anointing the story we read. Taking notes on quotes, questions we have such as attitude and motive, found more unknown words and defined them and  listed key events through out the story. We also went in our vocabulary book and looked at and took photos of our words.

11. Write about all the secrets that have been kept from you

 I can't go down a list and tell every single thing I've found out growing up but I can tell one in particular. I was in the 7th grade and woke up one morning, my mom and brother were gone with no warning or telling the day before. I went to school and still heard nothing from either my mom or brother. I got out of school and my older brother's car was there, I was home for about an hour and still heard nothing from my mom or anyone. Comes to find out, my oldest brother was arrested that morning and my grandfather passed on that same morning.
